To-day is my last day as District Governor , FY2008-2009. I am happy to report that Our District has GREAT FELLOWSIP, PROVIDED NUMEROUS SERVICES TO COMMUNITY, LESS PRIVILEGED & NEEDY & GREAT ACHIEVEMENT IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ESPECIALLY DISTRICT WEBSITE during my year as District Governor. But I am sad to report that we have a NEGATIVE MEMBERSHIP GROWTH OF 40. Hopefully with this housekeeping & cleaning exercises, we will have good positive growth in FY 2009-2010. Lets work hand in hand to achieve this GOAL. May I take this opportunity to thank all our present and past District Leaders for their guidance during my tenure of office as District Governor. To my team members, Cabinet Officers, Club Presidents, BOD and Lions members, my family and I appreciate your support given to me and your hard work to bring cheers to the community, needy and less privileged in FY 2008-2009. Your warm hospitality, fellowship and friendship shower on me will be my life time sweet memory. Not forgetting our lovely Leo members in our District. You all have done well in Club Administration & service projects in FY 2008-2009. Your Love showered on me during Leo Forum in Santubong Kuching Resort in June 6-8 has really touched me. Wish all school going Leo members excel in your studies. For those working Leos, set your goal & purpose in life, plan & I am sure, you will make it one day. Always remember to express your LOVE to your loved ones. Don’t wait, please. My parting words are simple. We, lions members, are ever ready to provide NEEDED SERVICES. Please continue the good work . Remember, if you have LOVE in abundance, you sure will have WEALTH & SUCCESS. Let’s join hands to support DG Karen Koh to ensure a blessed and better Lionistic year 2009-2010 for Our beloved District.. I love you all. Cheers! God bless |
